Sitting Outside - Ink and Wash

Today relaxing and enjoying the sunlight before several days of possible rain.

Oh how I love using the water soluble ink!!!  Can't say it enough.  It's such a joy to work with.  Makes sketching fun and brings ink sketching to a different level (for me that is).   I just like the results compared to pen and ink with cross hatching or speckling for adding depth.  It's easier for one thing because a little ink goes a long way adding substance and depth with just a few lines and a water brush taking it further.

Interesting subject matter Susan. I'd like to know more about that deer feeder.

The deer feeder is filled with corn you purchase at a feed store. There's that box under the big canister section that has a battery and timer. It goes off whatever time you set (we set morning and evening) and corn drops down on this thing that spins and it spits the corn out in a radius. It's really nice watching the deer as well as the birds we have feeders set up in a couple of places around the house. Especially comes in handy during the winter when the deer have problems finding food.
