Something Old

Did this for a forum monthly challenge not remembering it was supposed to be a graphite sketching challenge.......not watercolor.......lol.  Oh well.  I enjoyed doing this just the same.

One of the items I primarily used the Lunar Pigments from Daniel Smith.  I absolutely love the granulating effect these pigments produce.  I should really play around or use these more often!

#8 Round used in the Mini Handbook.

I love these Susan! Another example of "everything is sketchable/paintable" !

These are wonderful! I love the Daniel smith watercolors, but I haven't used the Lunar Pigments yet. The way they granulate is perfect for your subject. I also appreciate seeing the color swatches as each color choice makes such a difference.

I appreciate the comment Elizabeth! Thank you! Those Lunar pigments are great for texture on rock too. One day I hope to experiment with the Aquaboard texture and these pigments. I can only imagine how that would look with the toothiness of the board.
