Quick Watercolor Sketching

Was up early this morning and in the mood to do some sketching.  Worked these first three in the Handbook using a 1" flat and waterbrush.  The pen and ink was added last using my Pilot Falcon and Lexington Grey Ink.

From photo taken earlier this year.........

Our back yard......

Another from a photo taken a few months ago.......

This one was worked in the Strathmore Visual Journal using the same brushes and pen/ink.

We hope Terry's family comes through this in good order. And I hope your bass fishing luck improves too!

I love these sketches, especially the first and last--so peaceful!

Lee.........thanks, dear friend!! I'll make sure to relay the message to Terry. As for the bass fishing.......we were spoiled in WV. We used to fish at a Wildlife Management pond that wasn't real deep and a breeding spot for bass and bluegill. Rarely did we ever go out we didn't catch (and most often released) dozens of bass.....each. We knew when we moved our fishing would become more normal with the numbers ;-)
