Pen & Ink - Finch

Using the Noodler's Flex pen with Noodler's black ink

Handmade paper from (South) Africa

UPDATE:  Decided to add a touch of watercolor to my pen/ink sketch.

Used a 3/8" Flat to control the amount of water/paint applied as this paper is thin and bleeds through to back.

Holbein:  Yellow Orange
Daniel Smith:  Cad Yellow Pale and Payne's Gray

    Thanks Sandy!!! I'm loving this paper......especially for the pen and ink. A little "testy" with watercolor but at least I can make it work if I don't over load with water or too thin of a paint mix.

    I might have to try staining watercolor paper with a tea bag for a similar look.
