My husband's family goes back to a Wintun Indian tribe out of California. He has a dream catcher, several collector plates and other items with the Native American theme.The dream catcher has a rugged looking resin Indian attached in the center. I chose to work with hatch marks hoping to depict that ruggedness rather than blending for a soft look.
There are things about this I could easily change or add to but he loves it "as is" so I won't make any changes. This took many hours to complete building values with nothing but hatch marks. Outside of eye strain due to the number of hours in this, I found it very relaxing......like one would with zentangles.
