Change of Pace

Although I'm still practicing with facial features, I took a break to do something else.

This first is using primarily the side edge of a 6B pencil capturing this tree I see every day looking out the Florida room door.  Worked on the last page in my Stillman & Birn Zeta journal.

Can't emphasis enough how much I love the Zeta paper for graphite work.....especially when blending.

This next is worked in the Handbook using W&N watercolors and a Micron 01 pen
