Four out of five days this week (resulting in about 6 to 8 hours) will be spent sitting in a waiting room and dentist chair (mainly dentist chair). The positive...........getting it over with rather than spread out over several weeks.
This cartoon is what I have to look forward to but not what I've actually had done .......... yet. Consultation for this part of all the work I'm having done is today. Whoopie (laughing).
The clocks represent to me the long hours I'm having to spend in one of those "lounge" chairs being examined, poked at, and worked on :-))
I can only blame myself though as I drag my feet year after year seeing a dentist. I wonder just how many people like me are guilty of that?

Oh yes! Went through the same this past year, thought it would never end. And the money!! Oh well, you will be glad when it is all over and your smile is back to normal.
Good luck! Think positive thoughts and have of all of your beautiful paintings flash in your head.
I'm very guilty of dragging my feet when it comes to dentists! I know I need work done even now but, because I'm not in pain, I put it off even though I know I shouldn't.
Love your cartoon-ish sketch!
OUCH!
Thank you Diane, Jude, Serena and Sara for the comments you left :-)) Glad to see I'm not the only one who puts things off like seeing a dentist (laughing). And it's not over yet but at least I have a break until after Christmas. This was definitely a rough week but I think the worst is behind me minus the tooth extraction I'm hoping goes without incident.
