It's hard to believe it's August already. School will be starting here soon and we will begin seeing winter wear in stores as well as upcoming holiday displays. And even though Autumn doesn't officially begin until September 22nd, school starting seems to represent the Fall season and it gets earlier and earlier, it seems, every year :-(And a real sad note ... it's almost time for our hummingbirds to start migrating back South.
It was one of those nights where I had trouble sleeping so I decided to paint something representing my thoughts about the time of year we are fast approaching.....pumpkins and mums.
