Pelican Sculpture

This is one I worked last night before going to bed.  This is a sketch/painting of a resin trinket or  shelf sculpture we purchased years ago when visiting my sister in Rockport, TX.

Update:  It's been a long time since I've framed anything.  Terry loved this so much that I went digging for a mat and frame to put this in.  I may change the matting later but this is what I had on hand with colors that came close to matching what was used in the painting.  And the frame itself is not quite this dark.  It's more of a burnt gray finish (variegated not a flat black).
