Our Little Hummer

Still working in the Venezia sketchbook, I decided to try one of my favorite methods........prewetting an area with water and dropping in color.  This worked better for me allowing time to move pigment around rather than it immediately being soaked right into the paper fibers.  The one concern I had was how well the paper handled being saturated like that with it being drawing paper and 90 lbs.  The back page buckled and shows where it had been wet; however, it dried nearly flat and can still be sketched over.
